Our Process
VESTIUM is here to make your first-time fitting as easy, informative and delightful as possible.
Step 1: Inspiration
Book your fitting here for an in-person or zoom appointment (we offer virtual fittings). You will be able to share your thoughts and inspiration for our first meeting.
Step 2: Creation
During your first fitting, our team of Certified Custom Clothiers will talk to you about your wedding color palette, your bridesmaids / groomsmen outfits, location and the theme of your wedding. All of this will help us guide you in the direction between your vision and the ultimate Custom Suit or Tuxedo for your wedding. All customization features are complimentary. You will have access to the best materials possible.
Step 3: Fitting
In about 6-7 weeks we meet again to try on your Custom Suit / Tuxedo. It will be a finished piece, yet if you have any alterations we will make those adjustments within 2-7 days.
Testimonials
Vaughn Spearman, San Diego/NYC
I recently purchased a forest green custom suit from Vestium and it was a fantastic choice for my wedding. The craftsmanship, fabric quality, and attention to detail were all top notch. Ksenia was extremely professional and attentive; her advice and suggestions made the suit more stylish than I could have imagined. I couldn’t be happier with the results.
Nicole Williams, NYC
Vestium is the best! They walked me through creating my custom made suit for my wedding and I couldn’t be more pleased. They’ve been so patient and kind in assisting me with making this suit my own. The small details including the fabulous lining will make this suit something to remember and wear for years to come. I look forward to many more custom suits in the future. If you’re looking for something personalized, Vestium is your place!! (Hands down)
Alicia McQuade
I was able to work with Vestium to make a classic and dreamy custom suit from the comfort of my living room. Despite being states apart, we were able to get the custom details and fit right on the first try. No extra tailoring needed. They made the process that I thought would be overwhelming an absolute breeze. This is my first suit ever, and I didn’t know what to expect or where to start. They have created and maintained a safe space for people of all backgrounds to get top notch service.

How far ahead should I start the process of custom designing my wedding suit/tuxedo?
As soon as possible but no less than 6-7 weeks before the wedding. Even if your wedding is next year, we recommend designing your custom piece ahead of time and if you plan on gaining/losing some weight, we will hold off the final alterations a month or so before the wedding.
I don’t live in NYC but I am willing to travel for my appointment. Do you work on weekends?
For out of town clients we can accommodate weekend appointments. Please email hello@vestiumny.com to request a day & time.
What is the process of getting fitted for a custom suit/tuxedo if I don’t live in New York and can’t travel for my fitting?
We offer virtual fittings. You will need a measuring tape and a friend to help us with measurements. It’s very easy and fun! We will also discuss every detail over zoom, browse fabrics and customize your custom piece from A-to-Z. After 6-7 weeks we will ship your custom piece to your home and do a zoom fitting together. If any alterations are needed, you will ship the garment back to us with a prepaid FedEx label.
I’ve had a bad experience with a custom clothier in the past because I am a woman/non-binary/of my body shape, etc. How can I ensure my wedding suit/tuxedo will fit me?
We offer 100% Satisfaction Guarantee or money back. Our Vestium Sirens are Certified Custom Clothiers from the Custom Tailors and Designers Association with a decade of experience and hundreds of happy clients’s testimonials. You’ll be working in a safe and judgment-free space.
How much does a custom suit / tuxedo cost?
Custom Two-Piece Suits start at $1495 for a clean classic piece. Italian and English materials with some texture, silk or cashmere blends go for $2500-3900. Bespoke designs run from $2500 to $4500 depending on the idea and fabric. We take full payments upfront and we accept all major credit cards.
I would like to arrange a fitting party for my bridesmaids / groomsmen and pay for their custom suits or tuxedos. Do you offer wedding packages and can you see up to 10 people at a time?
Yes. Our Manhattan showroom is designed with a thought of hosting wedding parties fittings and we offer a few wedding packages. For example, if you want to bring up to 5 people to get fitted for custom suits/tuxedos, we charge $5,750 for up to 2.5 hours and we provide drinks of your choice (no hard liquor). During this time we have a few clothiers working with your party making it a great experience for everyone.
